IN OCTOBER THIS year, The Denver Post reported on the plight of 14-year-old Peyton Manning, a Colorado native who discovered that sharing the name of his team’s star quarterback wasn’t as much fun as you’d expect.
The main problem is that most people don’t believe it’s his real name. Not even Facebook.

“People don’t believe me sometimes, they think I’m trying to impersonate. Facebook won’t let me do Manning at all, no matter how many times I try.”
Well it seems as if the Denver Broncos were listening and one their public relations team organised for young Peyton to meet old Peyton practise facility on Friday.

As well as posing for a photo, Peyton signed a football for his young namesake that read: “To Peyton, great name.
“All my best, your friend, Peyton Manning, 18.”
As for his Facebook problem, young Peyton has decided to use his middle name instead of his surname to gain access to the site.
He has his profile picture sorted now too.
